CALENDARS: Q.
Why do I need a kit, can't I just send in my 12 photos?
A. We send a kit first because the kit makes it easy for you. We provide an envelope
to put your photos in, we provide monthly stickers (Jan., Feb., March, etc.) to
tell us which months you want the photos to print on, and an instruction book
which shows you all the different options you can have on your calendar so you
order exactly the type of calendar you want. If you want to put more than one
photo on a page it also shows you how to collage them and still fill the page. Q.
I would like to order 2 calendars. How many calendar kits do I need to purchase?
A. If
you are ordering 2 or more of the same calendars (using the same photos, dates
or titles), you only need to purchase 1 calendar kit. You may order & pay
for your duplicate calendars and other options when you return the kit with your
photos. (If customer has 2 or more sets of photos see answer below). Q.
If I have different sets of photos for each side of the family, how many different
calendar kits do I need?
A. You would need to purchase 2 separate kits. Treat each kit as a separate order
with a full set of 12 photos in each. Q.
I want to make 2 different calendars using the some of the same photos in both.
How do I do this?
A. You must purchase 2 separate kits, make a reprint of the photos to be used
in both kits & send us a full set of 12 photos for each kit. Q.
How do I get personalized dates on my calendar?
A. The calendar kit sheet contains options for personalized dates, personalized
titles and personalized covers. There is an additional charge for these options
and you pay for them when you return your kit with your photos. Personalized dates
and titles are FREE on duplicate calendars. If you order personalized dates this
year, we keep them on file & you can have them printed for free on next year's
calendars. (Any changes, additions or deletions on last years date list will cost
only $1.95 for up to 10 changes.) Q.
Must I have the same personalized cover for all my duplicate calendars?
A. No. You can choose a different phrase for each of your covers. List them separately
and attach to your kit sheet. Q.
Do I have to start my calendar in January?
A. No. You may start your calendar any month you choose and we will print up
12 months from that time. Just fill out the start date on your kit sheet. Q.
Do I receive my photos back?
A. Yes. All photos are returned with the finished calendar. DO NOT send rare or
one-of-a-kind photos (occasionally photos get damaged in the mail). First make
a copy & send us the copy. Q.
How would you know which month to use my photos for?
A. The calendar kit includes a set of 12 monthly stickers & 1 sticker for
an optional photo cover. These stickers are placed on the back, lower right hand
corner of the photos. Do not write directly on the photos; the ink can smear onto
the fronts of the other photos. Q.
Can I put more than 1 photo on a month?
A. Yes. You can put as many photos as you would like on an 8 ½" x
11" page, however you must send it to us all taped together and ready to
scan. We DO NOT tape or collage the photos for you. You may use artwork or scrapbooking
materials along with your photos. (The instruction booklet shows you how to do
this.) Q.
What is the size of the photos that I need to send?
A. Your photos or photo collages can be as small as a 2" x 3" or as
large as an 8 ½" x 11". They will either get enlarged or reduced
to fit our calendar page. Horizontal photos & horizontal photo collages will
fill the page nicely. Vertical photos will leave white space left & right.
(See instruction booklet for more details.) Q.
Can I split my order and have some regular weight and some heavy weight pages
for my calendars?
A. No. Unfortunately you cannot split your orders. All calendars, including duplicates
must be either regular or heavy weight.
Q. What kinds of photos can I use for my calendars?
A. Any kind of photos you wish as long as they are not copyrighted or pornographic
in nature. If you are using photos taken by a professional photographer and they
have a copyright stamp on the back, you must get the photographer's permission
before sending them to us. Q.
How long does it take to make my calendars?
A. You will receive your calendars approximately 4 weeks after we receive your
photos. We do offer a 10 working day rush service for an extra $15 on your order
of up to 30 calendars. If you order rush service, your calendars will ship to
you within 10 working days of receiving your photos.
We also offer a
Super Rush service for an extra $30 on your order of up to 15 calendars. With
this service, your calendars will ship to you within 5 working days of receiving
your photos. <<Back
